Sequins of Events

Just putting together another major fashion show for Beales of Bournemouth and have been contributing ideas for men to buy for women for the December issue of Men's Health - a wish list that I have left open on my laptop for Gav to see  (well, it is my birthday soon).

So have now done autumn and Christmas and soon previewing collections for S/S 11. Sometimes it's hard to get my head around what I need to wear now. I have kicked off the season with short tan leather cowboy boots - yee ha. But, note, leather. Soooo don't like the fake leather cheap versions. And I have brought out my full length 1950s genuine camel Jaeger coat from my vintage collection. Last time it resurfaced around 10 years ago I wore it to a London restaurant and saw a women walking out wearing it half way through lunch. I charged after her like Lawrence of Arabia across the desert in hot pursuit of a treasured camel...

Meanwhile, I have spent a few days in Cornwall and back into running. Did a 5 miles and 6 mile coastal run. Running is the best way to keep toned - and I truly believe that the best accessories for women are a good hair cut and flat stomach. However, both can grow alarmingly. Also trying Bikram yoga on Saturday. So no no sweat, then!

And now planning first editorial fashion shoot for the much anticipated relaunch of the print magazine version of Epicurean Life which is all about heavyweight five star glamour. Website is up and running: www.epicureanlife.co.uk.

Think I need to go and duck tape the clothes rail.
